Basketweave scarf and Post stitch cap

This is one of fastest scarves I have knitted so far. Only thing is to keep the count of stitches which is quite easy after first 2-3 repeats. I love the way it has turned out.
This does not look same from both sides, but from both sides it looks beautiful. I also loved the wave shape of it. I think my friend would love it.

One of the easiest hats to crochet. I wanted to knit a hat that would go with the basket weave scarf, but even after searching a lot, i could not decide on any pattern. Then I saw this one which I liked immediately.
For some reason, I felt the hat would turn out too small. So I was careful from the beginning. This has turned to be very warm and well fitted hat.
Corrections made to original pattern -
1) After round 5, I crocheted one more increase row which made the hat bigger.
ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, * 1 dc in next 9 sts, 2 dc in next,
repeat from * around. sl st to join.
2) I wanted the the hat to cover ears. So I crocheted about 3-4 extra repeats of row 6 (after row 13 in the pattern).
Yarn used: Lion brand Vanna’s choice Color: Coloneal blue

all your designs are wonderful. your recipes too are very good and easy to cook. i just need to know one thing from you, its that how do you manage to do all this things. how do you get the time. i dunno knitting, but whenever i m crocheting i dnt feel to enter the kitchen and vice versa. but you update your site regularly with both the things.
Shilpa: Thanks Samira. Actually, I love both cooking and all these hobbies equally. Usually I do multi tasking. When something is cooking on stove, I spend the time knitting/crocheting. My cooking is usually very simple, so I get some free time there
