Textured scarf

I crocheted this textured scarf for 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games Scarf Project. I didn’t make fringes at the end. Still thinking if I have to do it or not.

I love the way it has come out. The pattern was extremely easy and fast to crochet.

You are just too cool!! It is very pretty! I really like it a lot! Congrats!

Shilpa: Thanks Manisha. Also, thanks for letting us know about winter olympics. I have not worked a lot with two different colored yarns. So this was a learning experience.

Oh my! It is totally adorable :) Love the pattern, and the neatness of your work. I think it looks great with or without fringes.
I still have to go find this yarn…

Shilpa: Thanks Nupur. It was a lot of fun to crochet this one. I am liking small projects which get completed in no time :) .

Shilpa, where do you get the time? I keep telling myself that I have to keep tiem aside to indulge in me-time, but with housework, office work, my 4 mth old keeping me on my toes, even teh week ends fly by past. Iused the opportunity of Christmas to begin an some hand made cards but got thro half way only because Hubby understood and kept baby entertained for those 3 hrs at a stretch. I forfeited my afternoon siesta and tv for this but it made me realise that I still have that talent inside of me. I doff my hat to you, girl. More power to you.
