Dear Shilpa.

I have been following both your websites and found it an enjoyable experience. Both you and Nupur have inspired me to try out knitting. I learnt a few knitting basics yesterday and found knitting easier than crochet. I live in Bangalore and on my last trip to Comm. Street, I was able to find knitting needles and some acrylic yarn. Would appreciate if you had any leads on getting some yarn for knitting in Bangalore. As far as I know, only acrylic yarn is available .. so I can only dream about soft yarn like this :'(...

I loved top and the women's vest you made.. Would love to see more of your creations..

Shilpa: I used to buy yarn from Jayanagar (Is it 7th block which has the vegetable market?). You could try in Malleshwaram too. Since most of the yarn available here is made in India, I am sure you will find these in India.
