Metal embossing – Krishna
Metal embossing is an art I always adored. I wanted to learn this but could not. Recently when I saw this on few blogs, I wanted to try this again. I have never seen the sheets used for it or anyone doing this. I have just seen the final products. So it was very difficult to find the tools. I am still not sure that the tools that I have are correct ones.
Anyway…I started with a simple painting. My embossed Krishna is based upon this painting. I know I have lot to improve, but I had to start somewhere
.

oh this doesn’t look like you just started…krishna looks very happy to have taken form!…nice work of art shipla…
Very good first attempt..but there is one thing if u do, the embossed effect would be more..take some old pen with a refill and just punch them along side the outlines and background..it should not be a hole, but just press down the other area so that krishna appears more prominent.. you could check back my blog or even mail me if u couldnt follow me
Shilpa: I will follow your tips next time. Thanks a lot for taking time to explain.
